Another flame that burned brightly before going out for the last time in late 2014, The Walking Targets were a melodic punk rock band in the vein of bands such as Iron Chic, The Menzingers and Banner Pilot. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, they formed in 2006 as high school friends and have recently toured the UK twice with The Murderburgers as well supporting bands including The Smith Street Band, Arliss Nancy and Maladroit. They released their debut EP ‘Controlling the Motions’ in September 2012 and have since released two split EPs on Make-That-A-Take-Records. They recorded their debut full length album at Middle Farm Studios in early 2014 and released it in the Summer, touring the UK with Get It Together to promote it.
